Is there any easy way to adjust the R56 idle slightly without having to book it into a dealers ?

It's all controlled by the DME these days so no. What is the problem with the idle?

Thanks for the reply.

Regarding idle: couple of things. When it's cold it idles too low, ready to stall. Also, when setting off, the revs drop a lot, almost bringing the car into a stall almost every time in first. (incidentally, I noticed this on a demo I drove also. )Worse in normal mode than sports, but still not os good in sports. Looks like i'll have to take it in.

I think that is normal. Look at the low fuel consumption for the performance given, it's acheived in part by the DME being able to run very close to the limits in a number of areas. You'll soon get so used to using a little more throttle when you pull away that you'll forget you are doing it.
