I am new to the forum and currently don't own a MINI (I do have a classic mini) but am looking to buy one in the near future.
I'm 21 this year and looking to buy my second car. At the moment I drive a 1.2 VW polo but am looking for something a bit more fun now that I can afford the insurance!
I have a budget of about £5.5K (excluding insurance) and am interested in what people feel the best option is. I am currently looking at the JCW r56 and r53 models. I have done a bit of research and seen that a lot of people say the supercharged engine in the r53 is much more reliable than the turbo'd r56.
I guess what I'm really asking is what are peoples opinions on the 2 models?
