Hi All, I’m considering buying a Akrapovic sport cat for my 2013 JCW. Ultimately I would want a manic stage 2 remap but I live very far from Lohen. My intention is to fit the bits needed then next time I’m ‘passing’ I can pop in for the remap having had all the necessary components pre-fitted.
I understand the fitment does require a remap. Is this remap just to clear the CEL? Will I be okay fitting and have my local garage clear the fault code? Or am I best holding back and having Lohen do the whole job?
