Hi everyone,

I've recently sold my JCW and bought an R56 SD. I've got a downpipe on order and I'm struggling to get an answer from the performance centres regarding intercooler spacing being the same as the petrols.

Has anyone upgraded their intercooler without the need to move any other components about?

Hi mate, I did get the parts having Scorpion confirm their manifold would fit (it didn't, totally different set up) and air ram for an intercooler (there's space for one, but someone would need to change the hose fittings feeding into the engine.

In a nut shell it's not just a straightforward replacement.

I just stuck a big cone K&N on removed the air box lid permanently and got a map. Went from 143 to 191

That would be great thanks, I had a jap sport inter after emailing a few companies, but returned it.
