Hello there.

My radio just died during a trip, and the rear parking sensors did as well.

No fuses blown...

I got another radio, parking sensor still not working, it has no USB nor Bluetooth connection mode available, and the Aux does not work at all. My mini is a chili pack...
Is there any configuration to be performed in the radio module to enable features like these?

I also found a radio with the same P/No as mine, but there are many other codes that do not match, like SW(Audio and GW) and HW, whatever it means.
Any clue, someone?

Same happened to my r55. Saw lots of replacements on ebay etc but was told they would need coding but couldn't find anyone that could do it. Sent mine away and had it repaired turned out it was the power unit. Guy I sent it to audiorepairs on eBay turned it round in a day.

Send to repair sound great indeed.
How much did it cost?

Think it was about £80. Depends on what model you have. The guy in the link was very helpful and a real quick turn round. With mine I put the car back together without the head unit so could drive. Will say I have nothing to do with him just had good service, I expect others offer same service.

i had a r57 a while ago that water ingress under passenger seat and rusted out the radio and amp and bluetooth box,, £1750 bmw charged him to replace all that and code it to car, so if you can get yours repaired by far cheapest option , bba remen also do a repair service

All right, that is interesting.
Do you know the location of these components? I know there is a lot going on inside the doors, but not sure what is what.

Most of the documentation is about the R56, which should be the same devices, but the location are not the same at all.

Should I look for something else under the carpet than this? It was bone dry. Even under the box. The module itself seems to work fine, as I tested with another radio and the sound system worked. I noticed that there are a lot going on inside the doors...

i would guess you have the above type system boost , and not the harmon karmon one guess this was a optional extra on some r57 going by that then, when ever i get any of these offered up i tend to not get involved and just send to bba remen or bmw main dealer as its all coded and and few different options ,

older version perhaps , different colour as well , post 2010 change a bit would guess,
