Basically they showed some of you guys bombing round the track (Goodwood), and then they interviewed Mike Cooper and a couple of the drivers. One was the young lad Stephen and the other was some female Managing Director (sorry I don’t remember her name).AndyW said:So LMB, tell us pls, what was in the item?

World Motor Sports Sky Sports 1 1500 16/04/02
The start of part 4 is an article about Ferrari practising prior to San Marino with Barrichello and Schumacher talking about the set up and handling of the current cars.
Then it's time for the MINIs. This is footage from the Goodwood Track Day of The John Cooper Challenge. Features as you all probably known 25 MINI Cooper Works cars, however there doesn't seems to be a lot actual racing. Mike Cooper does a small piece to camera about the challenge race. Nice shot from inside of what is probably an LED gear change indicator on the dashboard flashing red at high revs. Some archive footage of early mini races and Monte Carlo featuring John Cooper.
This is followed by more recent footage where an original mini is shown power sliding whilst overtaking around a left hand bend. Back to the track day, the presenter chats to John Cooper again and some of the competitors about the fact that the cars are street legal (albeit with airbags turned off for the race, roll cages and saftey harnesses). There is is a nice shot of MINI near the end doing a small slide through a right hand bend.
Perhaps not as good as it could have been but something to keep us entertained.

well i have just watched a recording of it and its basically an edited version of the Video we all saw at Coopers on Saturday.
Lasts for about 7 minutes and they have Stephens interview on there but the shot of Andy has been cut!
not sure if the commentary is the same but still at least it has coverage on Sky and the commentator said he was looking forward to watching the series so it must be covered by them!

well you are in a pan shot of the cars on the start grid and they still have that shot of you all around the No1 car with Mike getting in

Just watched it, and kewlness of kewl , I am in it after all! It looked to me like a straight lift from the video we saw on Saturday, but with a different commentary.

Well, your car is - quite a bit - and you're in the shot round Mike's car. But it seems like you needed to wear shades to get the full lingering close-up

there is plenty of footage from the onboard camera they strapped to your car and there are a few shots where you can be seen (By using a very powerful magnifying glass very close to the screen!!)
So you are famous at last!
