Hi all I've just got my rear discs and pads and need some advice on how to fit them I have to get them on this weekend as the car is due for a service on Wednesday and i'm on the boat Tuesday night (live in Shetland no dealer)
I know the pistons have to be turned as you push them in but in what direction and what tools has anybody used?
Also is there anything I should look for when the wheel is off?

HELP

Cheers Richard

Hey Richard!

I presume you've read this thread? http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73077

sounds like you can push the pistons in with a set of long nose pliers.

As i said before - if you polish the pistons with autosol (chrome polish) first then clean them they will push back in a whole lot easier and not damage the seals.

Good luck mate. :)
