Just swapped my halogen parking lamps with LED ones and due to the difference in resistance, the car throws an error thinking that the bulbs are blown when they're not. These are supposedly the Canbus error free ones but they're clearly not. Has anyone here had the same issue and fixed it by removing the errors using Bimmercode? I've read a similar post about this issue being resolved with an F30 3-series BMW but I'm not sure if this would work the same way with an F55.

Replying to my own post as I have found a working solution. This method will get rid of the Cold and Warm checks the car does on the bulbs to see if they are functioning correctly. So keep in mind that if you do this you wont have any warnings telling you that your bubs are blown even if they actually are.

Switch Left Parking Bulb from Halogen to LED:

POL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
POL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
POL_L_IS_LED -> aktiv

Switch Right Parking Bulb from Halogen to LED:

POL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
POL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
POL_R_IS_LED -> aktiv

No need to cycle the engine in between the left and right bulb type adjustments. Code both sides then cycle engine and the error will be removed permanently
