Replacing stock clutch with the conversion kit

Hi. I'm new to this forum. I've been working on my boyfriend's R53 I've replaced and upgraded a bunch of stuff. Soon I'll be doing the clutch. I'm no mechanic but I've come a long way. And are teaching myself how to work on cars. So far so good. I now can confidently work on my BMW and my boyfriend's R53. Ive been looking online for what is exactly needed for the job, but can't really find what's needed. I ordered the clutch conversion kit. Do I need the flywheel locking tool? Thank you.
