I'm sure it'll be the same as other 2nd gen MINIs unless MINI have changed the system on the later models.

Sometimes it'll several attempts to get all the key presses correct.

Other option would app/software method like Carly for BMW Pro, Bimmercode (I think), Rheingold etc...
