i predict that many of you may know the answer to this, cannot find this in the owners handbook, have a r56 cooper s on the rev counter above the trip mileage i have two arrow heads one pointing up the other down, when the car is moving forward one arrow disappears and a number appears dependent on speed this number goes from 1 - 6, this dosent seem to match the gear the car is in, does anyone Know/explain what this readout is???????
