Hello there!

I wonder whether one could order a right-hand-drive Mini in the States.

Any dealer to contact? Any idea?

Please comment/advice.

Thanks.

Regards,

Chris.

Ditto on the above post.

It's plumb dangerous to drive a RHD car over here. I driven and ridden in RHD classic British sports cars, it's not for the uninitiated.

It may look cool, but it's definitely not safe! There may also be legal hurdles to clear in order to import a RHD car. Check with your local DMV before you decide.

Hello Gyus!

I many not have made myself clear enough.

I am just considering the option of bying my Mini in the States, where it's substantially cheaper than my country, and immediately export it home.

Regards,

Chris.

There are some folks that experssed safety concerns about RHD cars in the US, but actually RHD cars are common here....for mail delivery. That gives me an idea!!! A RHD CVT MINI would make a really great rural mail delivery car.

Perhaps they could import the One or One D for this.
