Hi, I bought a mini one 2002 with a few issues, one of them being the fuel gauge having a mind of its own but pretty much sticking at half, but this isn't what is bothering me. I put £50 of fuel in and did about 170 miles (accidentally reset the trip :serious: ) and I've gone to start it up and it's out of fuel, I know they aren't great on fuel but that's just ridiculous. I should also mention that the muppet who had it before me didn't get it serviced when it's 20,000 miles out of service :serious:

If anyone could explain why this is happening or point me in the direction of improving this it would be great.

Thanks
Ryan

Your car should at least do twice that mileage on a tank of fuel. What mileage is on it and when did you last service it? My 2004 MC returns a steady 37mpg when I'm scooting around the doors and 44mpg on a decent run.
