Had our first real run out in the clubman last weekend. To the lake district from Leeds.
We packed the boot with loads of things, even used the spare wheel space for storing hiking boots :D. The same amount of luggage as I put in our X3.
On the run up, it was a really enjoyable drive. Different drive to the supercharged S. More relaxed, but I do miss the whine from the supercharger. That said, the turbo engine is so smooth that it lets you cruise at 80-90mph without really noticing that you are doing that speed:p.
Overall it was great to still be in the mini for a weekend away, normally with the kids and the dog, we would have left the mini at home and used the x3.
44mpg was displayed at the end of the weekend, well pleased, much better than the S.
