Hey. Does anyone notice the wheel arches? It almost looks like they are painted. There is a bit of a shine to them. Does anyone know if there will be coloured arches available like the old mini?

That Cooper S certainly seems to be a prototype -- different from the production version:

Besides the (apparently) painted wheel arches and mystery scoop below the bumper, there doesn\'t appear to be any sort of grill surround either.

BTW, love the VTEC Ring Mini! :)

I\'m fairly sure that scoop under the front valence is a brake cooling duct. I would imagine that testing would put a bit of strain on the brakes after too many laps. I\'m sure swapping the brake fluid for Super Blue would go a good ways to solving any brake cooling issues if you are planning to put your MINI on the track.
