Hi all,

Just bought a 2005 Mini One HK...and trying to fit an AUX input to the head unit. Got the HK system so figured that was easier than swapping head unit etc BUT

Head unit wont acknowledge the Aux cable no matter what i try. Have googled for hours and read tons of threads most ending with nuclear physics instructions to wire in resistors and flux capacitors and whatnot...

Question is fellas (and ladies!) was there ever a definitive solution to this? Even if i bought an OEM cable people also report these dont work sometimes...

thanks for the reply windy, im rapidly coming to the same conclusion...id be interested to know how many people took their into a main dealer and left the mechanics scratching their heads when it didnt work when there was no reason why it shouldnt!
