It worked for me just recently. My 2006 R52 has the Boost CD 53 R50 with cd changer, no AUX jack nor AUX function when going through the modes (ie, only FM, CD, CDC). Bought a non-OEM aux cable off Amazon to add Bluetooth (by plugging a receiver into it). From what I read online, I figured I’d need to unplug from the back the white CD changer connector and replace it with this one. But then I thought, what would happen if I just put it into the empty AUX slot next to it? Would the AUX function appear as a new mode? And yes, that’s what happened.
