Well after 5 months its finally here, I pick it up
tomorrow had a sneak preview while it was getting a good
clean and it looked great!!

After many changes the final spec was as follows:

Cooper BRG white roof/caps
Chilli
Tartan red interia
AST
Sunroof
Automatic aircon
17" S spoke wheels
TLC
On board computer
Multifunction stearing wheel
Heater washer jets
Remote control alarm

Had my doubts about the red interia with BRG but now I have seen it in the flesh it looks great.

So thanks to every one at MINI2 for MINI2 its been a great
help stopping me from going mad.

I will try and post some pics asap but might be too busy
running my baby in.

Multifunction stearing wheel

Dealers keep telling me that the multifunction steering wheel isn't available until next April (March build for April delivery), so either the wheel has been made available early or dealers have been given duff information.

Have you definitely got the multifunction steering wheel?

Pick the car up tomorrow but had a sneak preview
today, and yes its on (havent tested to see if it works yet)

I have always been told by my dealer it was only available
on December builds onwards??

Minimayhem; Multi function wheel is Definitely available now, as GrahamG said, for December production cars onwards. That info is available to dealers, I guess the ones you've spoken to haven't read their bulletins properly.

spitting image or my baby, but mine hsa loverly red
interia Mmmm.

Also if anyone is still specing their car ADD the
mutifuction SW it is worth every penny!!!!!!!!!
£240 or £160 if car has Leather SW already.

Controls stereo and the cruise control is Excerlent
GO GET ONE NOW!!!!!!!.

About the mutifuction SW; I decided I had to draw the line somewhere, if money weren't a factor I would have done it. But it was a toss up between Radio BOOST or the mutifuction SW...BOOST won

What things can you control? Can you change track and things?

What are the 17" like?

I only have the standard tape head unit as I will be
having my own unit installed.
But it controls Voloume, radio search, mode ie tape, radio
etc, channel search, basicly most functions.

By the way I Cruised most of the way to work once u set
a speed u can + or - it while driving it was great fun!!

Also the 17" are better in the flesh than on the picture
they really set the car off.
Showed my car of yesterday to about 12 work colleuges
and they all commited on how stunning!!! the wheel are

Steering wheel radio controls were the one thing I sorely missed when testing the Cooper (I kept trying to press nonexistent buttons since my current car has them) so for me it will be a near essential option when I place an order (very soon, fingers crossed).

Presumably if leather has already been specified the MFSW only costs an extra £160?

Thats right it would only cost 160 quid trust me either
of the functions with out the other would be worth it
but for both!! it is just a MUST!!!

If anyone out there has doubts please!! trust me it is well
worth it!!
If money is a problem than forget the Turkey dinner and go
down Mcdonalds.

I believe the MFSW is a BARGAIN!!!!

Move your mouse to 'GALLERY' and a menu should appear. (If it doesn't, click the word to bring up another page.) It is the PERSONAL option at the bottom of the menu (if it appears that is) you need for the personal galleries - click on that and you should see the following on the next page:

You are logged in as GrahamG Index | Create & Manage | Help | Profile | Logout

Then click on Create & Manage.

Check you have got cookies enabled. Unlike the forum, if you don't accept cookies it won't let you log on. Once you have done that I am sure you will be able to create your gallery.

You should then see the following:

You are logged in as GrahamG Index | Create & Manage | Help | Profile | Logout

Click on Create & Manage and bobs your uncle.

I Think u may be right, but I have enabled cookies but
still dosent seem to work??

But could be linked to this as once I have logged in if I
go to user profile settings or go to post a thread I have
to signin again, is this the norm?

I will send another memo to Paul as I did have trouble
signin in the other week, which he fixed so I dont know
if my problems are linked with this??
