Picking up my new Mini on Saturday, dealer rang me today to say that the Sat Nav isn't working. They 'think' it's the disc and have ordered a new one, which will take a week or so to arrive.

When I asked whether they had tried another disc in the system to make sure it was the disc, they said they couldn't.

He said that each disc is locked to each car by using the chassis number? Is this true or a load of crap???

Iv had my car for over a year mate and I have sat nav the dealer is talking complete crap, you can swap DVD's from car to car with no problems at all....

Now go pimp slap your dealer

could be the dealer doesn't have another to try. How many Nav Minis are on a dealer's lot? None here in Orlando.
