I've goofed, big time!
Scuffed a wheel against the curb  . When I went to a guy that’s really good at fixing scuffed rims he suggested that, for a really good job, the centre of the rims have to come of. So my question is; have any one of you taken the centre of a Split R90? What’s the torque on the bolts when you put it all back together again? How big is the risk that the rim is going to be out of alignment?

I have no experience with two-piece wheels, but I would have thought that part of the point of a two-piece manufature would be that it should be easier to repair the outer rim, just as you need to do. I would not have thought the torque of the bolts would be too much of an issue. Unbolt them and bolt them back up when the outer is fixed. Nothing too scientific...

..but I could be wrong! :D

Good luck with it anyway.
