I Have a Mini cooper S 2018 with a seat issue,

I have had the Mini from new and in the second week of ownership I had a thread on the drivers seat pop up on the side of the upgraded sport seat after the dealership sorted it several months later same problem again dealership sorted it but 2 days later the seat issue returned back to the dealership they put a brand new cover on my seat 2 days later yep the seat issue returned I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem with a upgraded sports seat and if yes what was the solution. May I say the dealership went out of there way to support

I don’t know about the batch but I went out of my way to avoid the stitches on the seat over the last two days

I think it’s going to be an up hill battle to get the dealer to replace again also spoke to mini UK they don’t want to know but seat cover idea good idea

Thanks for your email and photo’s.

If I’m honest, as I’m not familiar with the car I wasn’t sure what I was looking for.

I’ve spoken to xxxxxx about this and he’ll need to see the car again. xxxxxx is in a better position to look at the seat and approach MINI UK with his findings.

I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful at this point, but we rely on the Centres to diagnose any issues.
