Hey M8, just to let you know, I've got a B&M SS kit and it does'nt exactly fit properly. It takes a bit of cutting to make it fit. Part of the plastic plate needs to be cut to fit the movement in.
If its one of those adaptors then I think they're very easy to fit without any probs. It is a really worthwhile mod to do as it propells the car faster. If you're after the B&M contact Rocket industries for a good price as they distribute them.

Faster acceleration through the gears due to less shift gap, did'nt mean any HP or torque differences  :)

edit: Stu, I noticed you've got Willans harnesses in your sig pic. Do you have the steel or the aluminium version?
pretty sure just the steel one??!!??!?!
any1?
any recommendation?
Maybe try McDonalds Bros Racing in Settlement Road Thomastown... they do mods to all sorts of cars (mainly street machines) Im sure they could handle a MINI with a B&M short shift kit.

http://www.mcdonaldbrosracing.com.au/ - Call them, rather than email - you get a quicker response.
