Simple Restoration

Hello.

I've found a Mini Cooper hatch that I want to adopt.
She's a 2002 and has run 175'000 miles.

I want to see her shine and have a complete make over (mechanically)
All from a new engine to the last bits.

Is it worth it, any advice? I'm having hard time finding new parts online.
Help please.

Thank you kindly.

Good luck mine is a 2002 with similar mileage, would love to have it restored to pristine condition lol I doubt it is financially worth it but if you like the car and intend to keep it why not

i would say if its a cooper s there is a very good chance that it will go up in value in the future as a collectors car toy maybe, think the non s will struggle more or take a lot longer to become that if it does.. its a bit like ford, mk1 escort 1100 auto no one really wants them until its converted to a mexico or rs2000 rep, think mini will be same the cooper s and jcw and GP especially will come to a point where they will increase their worth,, because where else can someone get that size and noise form a car that handles the way it does,,
