Spare key

Hi

I've just purchased my mini and it only comes with one key. I'm wanting to get a spare just in case.

Does anyone know how much it would be direct from mini??
Or is there any decent after market places that are good and cheaper??

Thank you

We just bought one with just one key, tried all the people that advertise new keys and were advised to go to Mini. Pleasantly surprised that the key was “only” about £150, and arrived the day after ordering.

Thats quite reasonable really. I thought it was going to be ridiculous. Might have to give them a call
I agree, we were most pleasantly surprise, expecting much more

Rang today multiple mini dealerships £265..... I think ill wait a little bit before jumping in on that price.

Ours is a 2012 Cooper D, actual cost, last month from Chandlers Mini, was £168.72.
I guess the older model must be cheaper?
When my keys were done at mini it made the key that already owned useless. And actually needed to buy 2 new keys. Went in for a ignition fix or replacement which I think they just fixed it.
