I'm taking a sidetrip tomoorow thru Death Valley on the way to Las Vegas. It has me thinking about the lack of a spare (running 17" Goodyear runflats).
At replacement time, I'm planning to get standard tires and carry some tire goop just in case. -OR-
Does any body know where I can get a compact spare to fit the ''04 MCS 17"?

Where can I get a plain steel wheel that I can mount one of my used runflats on in lieu of a compact spare?
I'm thinking I could throw my spare in the back whenever I am way out in the boonies.
