Hey all,
So after finally replacing my rev counter unit to get a working lcd screen in it, my speedo lcd has now decided to take its turn to die (just as im about to hit 75,000 as well!)
I'm aware I can straight swap the speedo for a used part but I've seen that I'd need the new part reprogramming. Does anyone know if its possible to reprogram yourself? My 14 year old brother is an absolute whiz at coding so was considering sending him off to sort it haha

Alternatively I'd much prefer to just swap out the lcd screen itself from a donor speedo, but can't find anything where anyone's said if it is or isnt possible - has anyone any experience with this?

Why can't you replace your speedo unit for a remaned or used one. Or render the lcd from one?
practically speaking of course, not well versed on R53 sure does look nice where you live.

The lcd is replaceable, had mine apart recently to change the colour, takes a while to take it apart but it's pretty easy
