They offered to sell my MINI on my behalf. Dealer quoted £14,000 where they quoted £12,000

Just seemed a bit dodgy that's all.

sorry, did i forget to mention that they charge £200 for this honour, and the lady on the other end is, to say the least, absent !!!!!

Had you put your car in the paper then or something? There's a lot of companies do this, scan the ads call the people and offer to sell their cars.
