the n18 engines will live with that ok would be better to get them to rolling road it so worth the extra, same engine in Peugeot rcz and thats a 269bhp out the box, just bare in mnd when something revs higher and harder for longer the timing chains get hammered and need to be done sooner on a mapped car than a standard one, the latest mini cooper s is using a bmw own engines 300bhp out the box wonder what that will map to bare in mind car makers tend to leave 30% for the mappers to play with,

its the old cherry i had a supra with north of 800bhp on it it handled it until i pushed it to hard for to long and never gave it chance to cool down melted turbo and debris in bound to pistons etc, like anything keep pushing the nuts off it it will melt no matter what it is. like said Peugeot put 269bhp on a factory prince engine. and they handle it just respect they will use more oil they will use up the chain faster,, on good side nuts engine when mapped up, just remember adding map adds fuel this equals more heat so takes linger to sort heat out, i would stick bigger inter cooler on it and oil cooler and let it cool down before switching off ie 2 mile before switching off drive it low revs high gears etc
