Do you have the central display with sat nav? If so it might just be the map CD that is behind the volume button spinning. I thought the same as you when I first bought mine.

Is this normal? I have noticed if I don’t use the car for a few days I have to reset the clock. However the car always starts no problem. I am reluctant to replace the battery if something is draining it whilst the car is not in use ie. the strange noise. I also get a key not inserted correctly, engine may not start warning sometimes, but it always does ,and I just ignore the warning.
Any idea what the noise is?
Thanks James, and yes it does have sat nav, and your probably right about the disc. I’ll probably invest in a new battery, I’ve no idea how old it is and it might even be the original one.Do you have the central display with sat nav?
