Sunroof exploding

Unless it's a manufacturing fault BMW/MINI will unlikely to cover it under warranty. Even if it's a manufacuring fault you will have difficulty proving it.

Just like any other window glass part BMW/MINI will unlikely to cover it, most likely need to be an insurance claim.

I'm considering a 2019 Tuscon Ultimate and the incidence of exploding sunroofs is potentially alarming though it's hard to get a sense of the real scale of the problem from just anecdotal reports. I'm interested to hear from any Hyundai sales folks who might have a better "big picture" view of the problem and could comment on how much this is worth worrying about Tutuapp 9apps Showbox

Doesn't Australia have a lemon law or similar, in that if you were sold something not fit for purpose you can return, get it repaired or refund?

There was a story in Australia about a Nissan (I think) eletric car. The battery was something like 5 years old and it was'nt working to its capacity and would costs the owner $30K+ (some silly amount worth more than the costs of the car).

The dealer obviously dismissed the problem and tried to sell the owner a new battery instead.

The owner refused and took the dealer to court and won, and then the dealer took Nissan to court and won.

I think you're in the wrong forum moltoviazz. Not many of us can afford a MINI and a 2019 Tuscon Ultimate as well .
