Hi All,

Have hit a curb very hard resulting in shredded tyre and write off alloy. Took it to the stealer, who gave me a horror story. Dealer relpaced the wheel and tyre, and I decided to change some of the suspension bits.

Have replaced the following:

-Control arm and bush
-Inner and outer ball joints

The car drives fine, but the wheel is slightly out of vertical i.e. the top of the tyre is leaning in towards the car, this is only slight.

Has anyone had any exeprience in getting wheel alignment re-jigged? Whats involved? Any idea of cost?

Any help/advice would be appreciated :)

Had a good look at the bottom of the Macpherson strut and where the hub carrier connects on to the bottom of it, just above the pinch bolt was bent.

So have replaced the strut cost of £75 and situation is much improved. Will need to get tracking checked.

Feel alot better now :)

Thanks anyway.

Hello, I had a strange sensation and heard a sort of a sound when turning the wheel, after that I have felt a like I was driving in a bumped road. This feels more at certain velocity. Does anyone know what can it be. MINI COOPER 2006. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
