Hi I'm a Newbe,

VAG marques have VAG COM, is there a similar s/w package for the BMW Mini please??

Nope! VAG-COM is a special product that interacts with the ECU in much the same way that the factory software does and allows options to be activated. They did start development of a MINI-COM but development stopped before more than a beta was released.

Or google INPA/EDIABAS ;)
