The MINI is not a car...

The MINI is not a car... it is a lifestyle! After owning a Cooper for the last 6.5 months, experiencing absolute joy and reading what you guys as fellow owners of the MINI have to say... I have come to this conclusion. Taking long routes to the office or back home, waiting in anticipation in those last few minutes of every work day to get in your MINI and having fun... driving around with a smile on your face, knowing that you're in command of one of the most special cars that has been created.

I for one, am one very happy guy. Sitting in my office, looking out the window and seeing my car just waiting for me to get in, start it up and take it for a spin - awesome! My friends love driving around with me, though I've not allowed anyone to drive it, except for one. He was so excited, he smiled all the way - brought a very warm feeling in me.

The MINI has been available in South Africa since mid '02, but it still grabs attention wherever it goes. Why? 'Cause it's different! I have not yet come accross a car in it's price range, that gives so much back to the driver in all respects. Enjoy your cars guys and girls, have fun and live... it's a lifestyle!

I completely agree. I sometimes think my Mini is actually alive because of the way she makes me feel. Glad you love yours as much!

You are so right! I don't even think the marketeers at BMW could have (or dared) envisioned the kind of satisfaction, devotion and......well........love.......that MINIs bring out of their owners. The car even outshines the formidable hype surrounding it, and how often does THAT happen? After almost two years of ownership my sense of enjoyment hasn't diminished one iota. In fact, its expanded.......largely due to the friendships built in the MINI community, the new skills I've learned (...like becoming a detailing nut), and MINI's out and out performance that continues to amaze and thrill.
