Time to move on?

Getting rid of both of my MINI's that is. Has anyone here (or knows someone) did that and how did that feel? I've got rid of cars before and didn't felt much pain besides having to get used to something else parked in the garage. In the short time that I've owned both of the MINI's, feels like I am pretty attached to it.

The reason I am getting rid of it as the novelty of these cars had worned off and the lack of power is starting to annoy me in a big way. Sure they can turn head, carve up any corners you like and not getting picked on by the police but it's slow compared to my previous cars. In fact, the search of my next car has already started and wouldn't be too long till it's located.

Should I sell them both, keep either one of them or just forget about the whole idea?

(not a financially based decision so ignore that for the time being...)

Decisions, decisions....

Dairy Boy ... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ... Dont do it !

At least keep one of them ! ... You know its not the right thing to do ... We ... Your friends at MINI2 can talk you through this tough time ... Dont give up the fight yet !

MINI is a way of life ... To give it up is crazy !

At least keep just one or them ... JUST ONE ... For our sake ... This is MINI we are talking about !

   :( :( :(
If it is not a financially motivated move, then at least keep one. You can drive the Porsche GT when you feel like flying, then drive the MINI when you feel like flying under the radar.

By the way, is one at least an S? JCW? What about just adding some power to one you already have?

Dain
I would keep one of the Mini's as a transition to your next vehicle..So what cars are on your short list to replace the Mini's?
Keep the S and add the 210bhp JCW tuning kit - should bring back the grin factor!
One of them is a MC and the other one is a MCS, kitted out with AmD OneClick, 15% pulley, Milltek headers, race cat (if there's such things), Scorpion cat-back, K&N HAI plus the suspension mods. That's pretty much the entry level upgrade for a MCS I suppose and to do the next round of mods, it's getting a bit expensive.

Currently looking for a Evo 6, got a few leads from my agents in Japan but nothing solid as yet. Not particularly keen on the red ones that they've located :p

I've done my maths, if I spent the same amount of cash on that dollar for dollar, I'll get quite a few more hp/kW out of the Evo than a MCS.

The MC haven't clocked much km's since the MCS arrived in October last year and it is getting wasted by sitting there doing nothing. I would much rather it goto someone that will enjoy her more than I do.

I gave up my 02 MC for a 02 Chrysler Prowler about 3 months later i realised I missed my MINI so off to the dealer and a few months later im now in a 05 MCS (yes i still have the prowler) give up one but NOT BOTH!!!

Looks like one is staying but which one?
What are you replacing it with first of all?
Either get another R33 Skyline GT-R or Evo 6. At the moment I am favouring the latter.
O... ic... wasnt what I expected... :)
What were you expecting? :) Maybe I could short-list that as well.

Elise? That's what a lot of MCS owners moved onto on NAM from most of the post I've read there.
