The first thing that started going wrong, was that the fan runs continuously for about 10 minutes or more after you have turned off the car. It didn't do that when I first bought the car used. some threads you find will say this is normal, but it didn't do that when I first bought it, so why did it not do it before? Some say it is a fuse that needs to be replaced for the fan or some other little part that needs to be replaced for the fan, but I know if I take it in to a dealership they'll charge me an arm and a leg to fix it and I'm not doing that.

Second thing that goes wrong as I kept getting an engine light, I took it into an AutoZone, and they diagnosed it and somebody familiar with minis came out and said let's try this he took off my gas cap put it back on in the morning light went away. That to me is a warning light that does not need to be there, because the gas cap being loose doesn't do anything to Hertz car there doesn't need to be a warning light flashing up at people while they're driving down the road they making you think there's something wrong with your engine.
Then I get a warning light with an engine symbol on in the mileage window, that shows a picture of an engine half colored in Orange, and when I look that up anywhere it comes up with 15 different answers of things that could be. That is another trip that I am not going to make just to find out it's something simple and get charged at least $75 just to tell me what it is.

I found out that the mini Cooper also Burns oil faster, is that true?

And I also get warning lights constantly about the tires, brand new tires, and every time it gets cold I get a warning light saying all my tires are flat 4lo. Of course they are it's colder weather they're going to constract, and then they expand again in warmer weather. Before we had warning lights this was not a problem I've driven many many cars cars do this every year it's not a big deal but I get a warning light about it.
I also get more in lights as soon as there's a drop of rain warning me that the roads are bad the roads aren't bad the roads are fine there's no ice on the road but it keeps flashing!, Oh my God really? !!!! Ooooh, run, take the car home, ...
