Towson MINI: Best Buying Experience in 33 Years!!!

I just left Towson MINI with my Electric Blue "S". In 33 years of car buying, dealing with these guys was far and away the best car buying experience I've EVER had. In April of 2001, they took my deposit even though they hadn't been assigned a dealership. Sure you're saying, they took your money, big deal. Well, how many dealers were NOT willing to do that. Also, at that time they committed in writing to MSRP and to making me #1 on the list. Hell, there are dealers even now who won't prioritize their lists. There were no markups, no forced add-ons...nothing but title, tags and taxes. No surprises at all. Everything was low key, friendly and ethical (something absent at all too many dealerships). This was as pleasant as my wife's expereince at Saturn; no haggling and great service.

My car was perfectly detailed (and I'm a stickler) and waiting in the "presentation bay" off the showroom floor. They unzip the big MINI bag, give you mints, keychain, t-shirt, etc.

This was their 46th delivery of Coopers...their 1st "S". These guys aren't saints, they're SMART. I'm a customer for life.

No problem...let me know if you ned a ride from the airport, a crabcake, etc. Yeah...one less customer wanting his toy every day for 13 months!
Congratulations again. It's good to hear that Towson took such good care of you.

Since you mentioned the 13 month wait, here is an assignment for you that I think would also interest others who are still waiting.

If and when will the "novelty" wear off after obtaining your car?

I'm sure that the grin would have to be surgically removed within the first several months but exactly how long will it take to not be constantly thinking of the car?
Soon @ Towson

:D :D :D My est delivery date is the 16th -- so hopefully, I'll be picking it up at Towson on the 18th, and am thrilled to be doing business with people of integrity. MSRP, and the only add-ons are apparently on the ones the sell off the lot, in the form of Lo-jack and CD changer, I hear...
Don't Go To Towson Mini

I too have had NO ONE return my phone call from Towson Mini...in our final MINI sale, they were suppose to include wheel locks...I've been told two different time that they were in the mail but it's been over a month now and I still have not received the wheel locks. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF LIARS!!!!! BUY YOUR MINI ELSEWHERE - DON'T GO TO TOWSON MINI!!!!
