I have an 2018 (latest version built in May 2018) Countryman S E All4 PHEV delivered 2 weeks ago. Today I filled the tank for the first time but couldn’t reset the average mpg display at all - The are two displays - the instantaneous readout that resets every time you start up and then the “average” that appears to never reset unless i’m Missing something. I’ve tried looking in the osner’s Manual but it’s as much use as a chocolate fireguard, it tells you nothing you want to know. Can anybody help as I usually reset every time I refuel with petrol. My last car had 3 mpg readouts - one that reset every time you switch off the ignition, automatically, trip A and trip B that both had to be manually reset. Also in the PHEV does anyone know how to get a mpg readout that doesn’t also include electrically powered miles (ie it only shows what the average mpg is for only petrol powered motoring) my first 13 days of ownership show 66.8mpg which is TOTAL miles run using both power sources divide by petrol consumed which is a completely meaning less number - made worse by the fact that 95% of the recharges I have made have been free using my domestic solar array rather than offpeak mains of public chargers (that are also free to use where I live)

This is a general principal for Mini's of any type since visual displays were introduced. Use the central display and select vehicle information. Scroll down and select trip computer. Scroll down and select reset for a manual reset. I can't see this being different for any Mini. For my F56 I can scroll down one more line and select automatic reset. This resets the trip computer if the car hasn't been used for more than four hours. I suppose this may vary.

Thanks Steve - found out how to do it - the left stalk with the button on the end to scroll through the TC pages is labelled BC (for “Board Computer” I Believe). By scrolling to the page I wanted to reset and pressing in the button on the stalk for 5 secs resets that page.
Thanks to RO-Explorer over on the Countryman section for letting me in on the secret!
