Hi all

I have an 08 mini cooper s and the drives like a pig lately. In the cold morning it has no real power. But drives ok. And if I put my foot down hard when the car is warm, it starts jumping around and doesn't want to accelerate and when I stop the car the fan keeps running for about 10 minutes afterwards.
I need help !!!

you have fault codes stored on ecu so car goes in to a limp home mode, need to scan it with diagnostics, if car has more than 60.000 miles on it them timing chain will be well due for a change, need to scan it any codes for crank position sensor or vanos positions etc or even upstream 02 sensor prob be the chain has stretched and top guide snapped off, or just 02 sensor has got melted from retarded timing most likely,
