Hello Guys

Have a Mini F55 1.5 Cooper D and drove fine, next day it is limited to 4,000 RPM, your foot can be hard in the carpet but will not rev past 4,000. Can drive it, as long as you avoid hills lol but engine is working harder so not driving at the moment.

Found it will boost once, then limit itself. If i turn car off, start again and pull away i will get once boost from the turbo, shift into 3rd and it limit to 4,000 RPM

Have removed the actuator however is there something else i can check, or check the actuator. The arm moves when the engine is started i noticed.

I have no engine lights, did check boost with my computer, i think it was -16psi at idel, +16psi on boost, could be wrong on that.

Found someone online repairing actuators, £171 so not cheap.

Anybody had this issue, have just changed the engine oil, about 1 week ago.

Also i have a front wear sensor and brake fluid change overdue triangles on the car, surly this would not cause this.

Hello guys, so turns out it was the swirl flaps that had failed - I have a three part video on YouTube so hopefully if someone else has this issue, will help them out;
