I think you will find that NAM's 250hp are at the wheels, Mini Madness's 300hp are at the crank...MINIAC said:The dynos posted by SPI on NAM show around 250 hp and Mini Madness is claiming 300 hp, so maybe they played with the boost a little![]()
I know George's car quite well and believe me 300 at the crank is very doable. Don't forget it has all the rest of the mods on it. We were both sitting around 255 - 265 before the turbo. I talked to him yesterday and yes the boost is definitely up there. It's above 20 and in the process of being finely adjusted for optimum performance and durabilty.MINIAC said:The dynos posted by SPI on NAM show around 250 hp and Mini Madness is claiming 300 hp, so maybe they played with the boost a little![]()

Don't know about UK availability, but US price is $5,850 plus installation:rasp said:So is this mod going to be available in the UK and at what price?

Don't know the specifics, other than it takes 15 hours and dyno tuning is involved.rasp said:Do you know what is included in the install?
One US tuner developed a turbo kit for the Cooper but decided not to market it:KJ_daGreenMini said:i dont understand why no one is tapping the cooper market especially when they can bundle drive train with it.
I see there talking uprated pistons, AMD wer running a MCS at 400bhp (crank) and it streched the head bolts and blew a head gasget, if there running 300bhp (crank) with no other mods then the mind boggles...MINIAC said:Don't know the specifics, other than it takes 15 hours and dyno tuning is involved.
