Just had my first service on my 03 MCS (I know, I just got to drive it more often, but hate parking it in parking lots). While at the dealer service center I was advised of two voluntary service campaigns, which the dealer immediatetely took care of. These are:

1. Crankcase hose replacement. Apparently, the originals were prone to failure. A new revised hose was installed.

2. A re-program of the open gas filler cap alert sensor. I was told that the purpose of the re-program was to make the sensor more sensitive.

Anybody else have information on these two service campaigns?

Factory voluntary recalls re: emissions equipment.

You basically covered it in your post. If you're in CA however, make sure they give you a slip that says that it was done. You keep that and if the DMV ever asks about emissions, this way it proves the work was done. Apparently, if you fail to have the work done, factory (at a point) is required to give DMV the VIN of the cars and you wouldn't pass smog... CA DMV is a little gnarly.
