UK MINI2'ers attending International New MINI Meet 2005

Just wondering, and thought it might help to get a bit of interest up, if we had a thread to plan and arrange those in the UK that are interested in the BIGGEST meet next year.

Basically the meet is all detailed here INMM 2005 by our own Morty, and he will update with further info as it happens. You can also visit the offical site here!!

So anyway, I am interested and hope to attend, would appreciate it if others would register their interest and then confirm etc...

We can use this thread (I will keep the first post updated as best I can) to list those interested, those coming, and who is in which chalets with who else, and then meet up points when we get closer to the event:)

Then as normal there is a Banter thread too:)

This is not much over a week away.

Is there any info about who has which cabin?
Who is sharing with who?
Do we just turn up and assume someone knows whats going on?

Doesnt seem to have been much info recently
:(
I know I shall be sharing with Max and that's it :)

If it is so random, then you best make sure you use all 200 bhp of your works motor to shift us off your tail on the run there from the ferry - otherwise you might arrive at the same time as us and they might throw you in a cabin with us! :D

As I understood it Morty was getting us all to throw our keys in a pirate's hat....

or was that just one of the games on Saturday night? :D

Sorry for that.
The problem is that Center Parcs changed the chalet setup. (not the amount)
We have to do our list all over again.... so as soon as I know .. I'll post it here.

I don't have an overview from here mate, but I think you were in the same chalet as Beastmaster. I'll have to check.
Normally a mail with all the info will be sent out to all participants today or later tomorrow.
Not being a nag, just getting excited!

What times are your ferries/chunnel? We, thats MINI2mini, are travelling at 7.45 Friday morning on Speedferries from Dover.

A couple of MINIs are stopping at a travelodge in Ashford Thursday night. the rest are travelling early Friday morning.

ray i have finally sorted out my green card now i am all ready
In my email I have been invited to a beach party on Friday......

Is that different from a Pirate party on Saturday

Do I need a different outfit for a beach party or just my water pistol and sombrero ;)

We should be out of the tunnel by 10:45h DST :D Then off to the big Auchan in Dunkerque for a spot of shopping, have lunch in Flunch within the same complex (next to the supermarket usually), then continue our journey to Lommel :D

We should arrive at the supermarket around 11:30h. Join us if you can/wish to :)

Here's the link to the supermarket:

Hmmmm I have just seen the weather forecast for Belgium/Holland:

Friday: wet, rain, cool 23 deg.

Saturday: rain clearing, cool 23 deg.

Pack wet weather gear and warm clothes ;) :) :red:
I was thinking about packing the fan a minute ago, may not be necessary afterall :)

DK ;) :apple:
Well keep that fan in mind ...

The Weather forecast for Belgium said yesterday that friday and saturday would be about 25-28 degrees where we are.
Friday night and Saturday morning we could have some rain and a possible summer storm. :(
Temp wouldn't go beneath 25 degrees these days.
Thanks For Visiting !!

The organisation ... and myself in particular would like to thank all participants for attending.
We hope you all had a great time and that it was worth making the trip. :)

Personally I would like to apologise for not being able to warn you about the roadworks at ring of Antwerp. I know a lot of you were frustrated, sorry

I personally had a great time, unfortunately too busy to talk to everybody.
There were a lot of people (mostly UK) with whom I really wanted to talk, but due to lack of time, busy schedule, stress, etc .. it didn't happen. Sorry for that.
Please don't think I was ignoring anyone. I hope we can catch that all up soon. :)

I really hope everybody gets home safe and look forward to meeting you again.
Maybe on INMM 2006 in UK ??

I hope MC will get it done :)

Bye for now and talk / see you all soon
(August maybe?)

Regards,

Morty (Morten)
INMM 05 Chairman
