UK MINI2'ers attending International New MINI Meet 2005

Just wondering, and thought it might help to get a bit of interest up, if we had a thread to plan and arrange those in the UK that are interested in the BIGGEST meet next year.

Basically the meet is all detailed here INMM 2005 by our own Morty, and he will update with further info as it happens. You can also visit the offical site here!!

So anyway, I am interested and hope to attend, would appreciate it if others would register their interest and then confirm etc...

We can use this thread (I will keep the first post updated as best I can) to list those interested, those coming, and who is in which chalets with who else, and then meet up points when we get closer to the event:)

Then as normal there is a Banter thread too:)

WELCOME aboard guys :)
Innm 2005

Doncaster Mini Register also planning a trip to Belgium for this one, had a word with MINI2mini about joining their convoy. Would be great if all us brits got together but could see it being a nightmare keeping us all together on route.
Can someone who's been before confirm it's chalet accomodation, number per chalet etc, any other info would be appreciated. Will be our clubs first trip abroad as a club, really looking forward to it.
Also thought about tagging drive to Nurburgring for a 5th day, has anybody else thought about this, or done it before. have had friends do this before and makes sense to tie into this trip.
Cheers
Jas
Yep, thought about going to the "Ring" but gotta wait and see what dates it's open as I don't think they've been published yet :(
Think it will have to be on the way back as there is the "DAMC Oldtimer Festival" on the 24-26th. Which means that it would have to be on the Thursday the 23rd if it was to be on the way out. This would mean either a really really early start on the Thursday or travelling before hand which would make it quite a long trip. :(
DMR have u tried the INMM 2005 forum for more information?
pls put me+1 down as maybe's ... how much for ferry etc ? doesnt Beastmaster have another thread on this ...? Nurburgring - good idea

We have booked with www.speedferries.com 11.15am on Friday 24th June £50.00.
A couple of others have booked with them too.

However, there is also a fair number who have opted for the Chunnel option, which is a wee bit quicker but a fair bit more expensive.

So whatever suits you best should see you being joined by some fellow miniers.
Cheeers, looks like I better start planning ...

That's good news, Peanut (Chrissie) will be pleased when I tell her - seems like there is a decent little convoy from this crossing!
