I bought this 2008 Mini S from my neighbor a few weeks ago, and it started throwing a P1497 Code today. I investigated and found what I think is an unusual PCV system on this car. Basically the rear PCV port goes into a rubber hose which routes to the TOP of the intake manifold. There is essentially a rubber hose - plastic "T" manifold which routes the oil laden vapors into each of the intake ports on the intake manifold. It turns out, one of the "T"'s broke and created a leak.

My question is..."Is this a standard OE setup?" Ever seen it before? What shall I do? Advice? If this is standard, where can I get parts because all I can find is a hose that routes to the BOTTOM of the intake manifold, and I find nothing like this.

Thanks,

A new Mini owner

It looks like these are no longer available, and that the parts to repair it are not available either. Looks like I'll need to fabricate something!
