Don't take it personally
It used to be the norm but with so many Minis on the road these days I've stopped doing it unless I see an identical looking car coming the other way or one driven by a member of the fairer sex. Then I give a wave
Hey!PRG said:Hi all,
I've had my Cooper S for 2 months now & can't believe that fellow MINI owners don't wave or flash there lights. Everytime I do I get ignored :-(
When I had my Lotus Elise, every other Lotus I saw flashed back at me, how come you mini owners out there dont.
Well if anyone does see me driving on the M25/M3 to Leatherhead in the morning in a Dark Silver Cooper S (AM53....) Please wave or flash, it would really brighten up my day.

I bet you do, nice car...PRG said:Hi,
I PX'd the Lotus for the MINI as I am now travelling on the motorway a lot. The Lotus was far to noisy & uncomfortable on the motorway... Perhaps I am getting a little old. I sometimes do miss it though.

Hey, remember there was no traction control in the Lotus, and switch it off...PRG said:...Although the thing I miss the most is getting the back to swing out on wet roundabouts & applying opposite lock.... On the mini I get understear & the traction control light coming on... Which isnt quite the same :-(
