Greetings.
I use a Vcommand GPS nav system for the MINI when I am 'just trying to get somewhere', but on those days when I need to see the road ahead and want to know the twisty way, it doesn't work. Garmin just came out with a USB connected Quest. It has voice prompting, works with all the Mapsource maps and is small enough to carry in a pocket when wandering the streets of a foreign city. It can also do autorouting on the fly and allows you to design routes on a pc and upload them. I am thinking of using it as a bicycle/car/scooter nav system that lets me design fun routes. Anyone try it yet?
What about patching the sound into a 2002 MINI's stereo system?
Thanks.
Mike
