Hi Folks,

I am having a realy nightmare with my prescious 51 plate Mini Cooper.
Sadly the engine blew up and needed replacing. The car stood for 2 years untill I was finacially able to replace the engine.I have had an Engine replacement specialist carry out the work.Engine runs sweet as but I have lost all dash functionality i.e no speedo, rev counter and lights in the centre clock. The only thing that works is the Fuel gauge ?

An auto electrician has had a look at the car and cannot find anything wrong. There is live going to everything it shoud be and the instruments themselves seem fine.

Does anyone have any ideas atall.I would very much appreciate it.
Is it more likely that this is due to the time the car was standing or due to the replacement engine which apparenty is identical.

Also does anyone have a full wiring diagram for a 51 registered Cooper ?

Kind regards,
Karl

I had similar symptoms when I didn't properly connect the bottom plug into the fusebox in the left hand wheel well after retrofitting the mfsw loom. Not a lot of help, but there is one connector which deals with all that
