woo hooo - my first mini!
Hi everyone! I just ordered my first mini and i'm so excited!! can't wait for delivery. my younger brother got his first car - a mini one in October last year and i have been so jelous that i have just ordered a mini cooper!! soooo excited. he told me about mini2 and so i thought i would join and say hi!

Hi everyone thanks for the great messages you've posted, it's great to be accepted into a community like this is such a nice and quick way!
As for some of your questions at the moment i've been told delivery date is 18th May (wish it was sooner!!)
Yeah bluetooth is expensive but it comes with sports leather steering wheel, multifunction steering wheel, arm rest, radio boost and single cd player so is worth it really. plus in the car i have at the moment i have a dash mounted bluetooth but sometimes the phone looses connection in the middle of a call (v annoying) and you still have to pick the phone up to dial. with mini bluetooth if you have a compatible phone you can buy a cradle to charge it in the armrest and your phonebook automatically updates itself to the car so that you can use the multifunction steering wheel to call out!!

super-duper-cooper - i bet your going to love your car to pieces like my brother does (his mini one was his first car too). you're really lucky to be able to afford the insurance on a cooper. my brother is only 20 so his insurance on a mini 1 was over £1000!! what's your spec (haven't quite sussed out the whole of this site yet!!)

Im loving it already and i've only test driven it and haven't seen it since saturday! Its a MINI ONE and insurance has cost me £1241.10
I love your brothers car! Very vibrant and funky! Learnt to drive in one just like it!

That is really an awesome spec! It is always awesome to build up your own car, especially a Mini, the way that you want it. Sure your brother is gonna be jealous now
Not to put a damper on anything, but hope you are more successful than I am in getting a good price on the trade value of the car at a later stage. I do not seem to be getting much for all my extras at all
