Hi - New to Minis, just bought a Cooper S Clubman (2008) with a N14 engine.

It's running OK at the moment but I will probably need to do the timing chain and decoke the inlet in the next few weeks so could anyone recommend a good workshop manual ?

Also - Diagnostics - I have a basic Autel OBD II fault code reader - will I need anything else ? If so, what's best without spending silly money ?

Bentley Publishers, Haines and Chiltons all do workshop manuals. Bentley is best but also the most expensive. Haines is available in print or online.

Thanks Steve - I've had a look and opted for the Haynes one - I know the Bentley ones are supposed to be best but the prices are pretty eye-watering for DIY. I know you can find a fair bit online but I do like a good old paper copy to refer to for the basics...
