Hi,
Last week I saw that the leather on the side of my drivers seat was worn and had a horizontal split where it compresses onto the plastic on the side of the seat next to the door.
I have 'Punch Leather' seats which I know are thin but.......................

The dealers were great and ordered a new seat base and this is getting replaced next week.

I do take care of my cars, treat them with respect etc and the car has only done 12,000 miles, and oh.........I only weigh 12.5 st so they have not been abused and I certainly would not have expected them to deteriorate this quickly.

Check your seats too by lifting the side of the leather up whilst standing outside the car.

Leather is always a fragile thing. Have you fed it with some leather stuff?
It's why I always go for cloth, far more hardwearing!

Update.......
The dealer has found that the seat base is cracked, thats why the leather is being squashed when sitting in the seat.
A new one has been ordered.
